The 9th (expanded) meeting of the 4th Council of China Alcoholic Drinks Association was held in Beijing

The 9th (expanded) meeting of the 4th Council of China Alcoholic Drinks Association was held in Beijing on April 22, 2014. Leaders attending the meeting included Xu Xiangnan, director of the Personnel and Education Department of China National Light Industry Federation, Chen Zhimin, deputy director of the National Science and Technology Award Work Office, Wang Hongze, vice chairman of the China Finance, Trade, Textile and Tobacco Trade Union, and director of the Plant Source Division of the Food and Drug Administration Division I of the State Food and Drug Administration. Nie Dake, and relevant comrades from the Food Division of the Consumer Products Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the Office of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, Wang Yancai, chairman of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association, and representatives of the vice-chairman of the China Alcoholic Drinks Association. More than 500 people in charge of the organization and members attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Wang Qi, vice chairman and secretary-general of China Alcoholic Drinks Association, and Wang Yancai, chairman of China Alcoholic Drinks Association, made the “Work Report of the Ninth (Expanded) Meeting of the Fourth Council of China Alcoholic Drinks Association”. The conference reviewed and approved the “Adjustment Opinions of the Fourth Council Director, Executive Director and Vice Chairman Units”. At the meeting, the 2013 “China Wine Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Excellent Paper Award”, “2013 China Wine Industry Association Science and Technology Invention Award”, “2013 China Wine Industry Association Science and Technology Progress Award”, etc. were commended, and the award-winning units / Individual awards and certificates were issued. In addition, the conference also awarded the “National May 1st Labor Medal” to the winners of the “Nomako Cup” 2nd National Wine Tasting Professional Skills Competition finals held in 2013. Finally, Nie Dake, Director of the Plant Source Division of the First Division of Food Supervision and Administration of the State Food and Drug Administration, made a special report entitled “Implementing the main responsibility for food safety in the wine industry and further improving the level of food safety management in the industry”.

The conference lasted for two days. During the same period, the “2013 China International Wine and Society” Forum, the launching ceremony of China’s wine industry’s public welfare strategic action, and the director (expansion) meeting of each branch were also held.
